"my god look at that" said tom, over in the third field (the furthest field from the house) was a large silver object, half buried in the ground, around it was a strange blue light, that was flashing on and off,
"i'm going to have a look at this" said luke walking off,
"be carefull" shouted jess, "we don't know what it is"
"i'll be fine" said luke casually, so he walked off towards the strange object,
"i do hope he is ok" said emily, "i don't like this atall"
it was pitch black by now and getting very cold, as luke walked onwards, when he was just a small black object against the blue light he stopped,
"what is it?" shouted jo, luke looked back with terror in his eyes, and then he was gone!!....
"what the...." said james,
"i don't know but it isn't good" added joe, "theres nothing we can do now anyway" he said sadly,
"but we have to go get him" said robyn,
"not while it is dark we're not, come on lets go inside" joe replied.
inside the house everyone was very scared,
"what the hell is that thing" said tom,
"i don't know, but we have to find out where luke went" replied joe, "i think tomorrow we will send a search party out there",
"well in that case we have to decide who go's" said debz,
"yes who will volunteer to come with me" added joe,
"i will" said james,
"count me in too i guess" said tom,
"yeah and i better go" said alion,
"me too" said debz,
"right that will do" said joe,
"for now i think we should all get some rest" said jess, "its nearly 2.00am"
"i can't sleep with that thing out there" said sarah,
"me neither", said jo,
"right i will stay up with anyone who isn't going to bed" said joe in an important voice, "its not a good idea to all sleep with that thing out there anyway whatever it is, if you can sleep, i suggest you do, we will have a long day tomorrow i fear"
"i have to check on julia p" said reena,
"well i'm off to bed" said james,
so joe, sarah and jo all stayed up in the living room,
"i will get some tea on" said jo yawning,
"good idea" said sarah,
"nozzle or normal?" asked jo,
"nozzle for me please" replied joe,
"right you are" said jo making for the kitchen,
"oh i do hope luke is ok wherever he is" said sarah,
"yes i hope so" said joe looking worried,
just then wilko walked in, "will you please be quiet some people are trying to sleep" he said,
"a strange flying object has just crash landed in our field, luke has disapeared, and you want us to be quiet?" said joe,
"well where was i when all this happened?" wilko replied,
"probably smoking your cigars or somthing, you really should pay more attention to whats going on" replied joe,
"well i'm off to bed anyway, i've got swedish puffs in a leather coffee shop to watch on bravo" said wilko, "night night"
it was 4.00 in the morning, sarah was asleep rapped in a table cloth, and joe and jo were playing scrabble,
"well you got me again" said jo sighing,
"no-one can spell like me" he replied,
"more tea?" asked jo yawning again,
"yeah i could go for some" said joe.
"ok" she replied off again to the kitchen.
just then there was a loud bang, and what sounded like sand rushing throu a siv,
"what on earth is that" said joe peering throu the window,
"did you hear that?" said jo, coming back from the kitchen,
"yeah it was weird wasn't it" replied joe, just then sarah woke up,
"whats going on?" she asked seeing joe and jo looking out the window,
"we heard somthing" answered jo,
"well whatever it is out there, its doing something" said joe, "i dread to think what" added jo.........
the next morning all was quiet, slowly everyone got up,
"morning" said suz coming down the stairs,
"have you been up all night?" asked emma, looking at the 3 tired bodys on the floor,
"yeah pretty much" replied joe, except when sarah slept for about a couple of hours,
then carlos came in, "morning all, i how you say, very tired, i not sleep well",
"no i don't think any of us did" said viki,
"well while breakfast is being prepared, i think we should go and look for luke" said joe,
"yes the sooner the better" added alion, so debbie, james, alion, joe and tom got there things together, and left the house by the back door, it was a warm october morning,
"well lets go" said tom trying not to be afraid, and wearing his lucky mokosons, so off they wen towards the craft.
back in the house julia p was up and walking at last, "its great to be able to join you guys again" she said happily, "but it would be nice if it was under happier circumstances"
"yes but i'm glad you are feeling better" replied louise,
half an hour past,
"i hope they are ok" said wendy,
"yes i'm beginning to get a little worried now" said viki,
just then joe and the others walked in,"well theres no sign of luke" said joe bleakly, "all there is, is a what looks like a.....
well a huge metal object, round, with a edge on it, like two soup bowls placed against eachother, no entrance or anything"
"well all we can do i wait i guess" said viki, "for now breakfast is ready" said ellie.
